Cudonia confusa Bres. Cudonie confuse, Cinnamon Jellybaby. Fruit body 2–3cm high, fertile head 7–12mm across, convex becoming centrally depressed, margin incurved, viscid, ochre-cinnamon to reddish-brown. Stem 20–30 x 1–2mm, more or less concolorous with head. Asci 105–120 x 10–12µ. Spores cylindric, 35–45 x 2µ, becoming multiseptate and budding in the ascus. Habitat in tufts in conifer woods. Season late summer to autumn. Rare. Not edible. Found In Europe.
